Yeah, something like that. I can't really explain right now, but it will hopefully all be resolved in a couple of shows.

In all seriousness, I haven't said anything that I wasn't sure I was allowed to say. :) Edit - Prelims were filmed in SA, so to say that you were in SA in December last year isn't necessarily to say you made it to Semis. It's been confirmed with Headquarters that we are allowed to share who came. :)

I believe the agreement we signed was to not disclose anything that happened in the room until that particular show aired. No one has shared that type of information yet.

There are several ways someone could have gone to San Antonio anyways. One could have been a Semi-Finalist either 1) the normal way or 2) as a Wildcard, 3) participated in the Prelims in SA, 4) been there as the alternate, 5) gone as a supporting sibling, or 6) came just as an observer! I know some people who came for each reason. ;)

I think James. I actually feel a bit confident that it is James :). It seems like it's about the right length.

So… I am a little confused…. it says that the Bible book to be studied will be released on June 1. But the verses and the study guide will not be released until the 22nd. Is that correct? Or so are we suppose to study the book by ourselves for the first 3 weeks? This is so confusing for me!! :)

Do you guys know if the competition rulebook has been released yet? Also, did a previous webinar say that the written test would be on the study guide? Because if so, studying a lot before June 22 won't very beneficial.

Much as I want Philippians, I don't think that we'll have it for locals. Mr. Upton said that we would not have a review week at the end, so I'm thinking that the book will be five or six chapters.

I don't think it has been yet… I've been checking. :) And yes, the written test will be on anything that's in the study guide. But I think studying before the SG comes out is still beneficial. It gives us time to memorize the book.

But seriously, it's not going to be very likely that anyone has been able to keep their trip to SA private for this long anyways. For one thing, there's been pictures/videos going around.

I think I understand what you're saying, but I just think that because it was never very clear what could and couldn't be said, some people might not like it if they thought that you were saying something about them that was supposed to be a secret. It's probably OK, but this is just my thoughts on it :).

OK :). Well, at Thanksgiving we couldn't even tell extended family that we were going to SA, and then towards the end we could say whatever we wanted to other BBGS-ers, and tell others that we had gone to SA, so I'm still not completely sure what could and couldn't be said.

I don't know who you are so I don't know what you've heard about the whole secrecy policy stuff. If you were not in GS or just were in Orlando, then at that point we weren't allowed to say anything (even to fellow GS-ers). Now I think that we can say if we were in SA, though I never really heard it straight from the McMahans, so I'm not completely confident :).

:) Yes, they sort of need to write something that is easy for them since it's their first year. They could get a lot commentaries on James :D.

I don't think I've said this yet, but in the webinar on Tuesday, Daddy said that Mr. Upton said that we would be pleased with their choice of a study book. Rather scanty evidence, but that is part of the reason why I'm thinking James.

James actually seems pretty possible… I think I'll guess that over Philippians. It would also fit better with the six week schedule.

That's my first guess, I think. I'd be happy with it…except James is all marked up in my Bible, from when I was younger and marked any verse I liked. xP xP Lol. So it would make it harder to mark my BB marks…or mark important things…cause it's covered in purple. XP facedesk

Mr. Upton said in a recent webinar that they're not going to put a review week at the end of the study, so I think that that pretty much eliminates the possibility of Philippians (though of course I could be very wrong).

Galatians is my second guess because it's six chapters and we have six weeks.

That was my question, and he said he liked the idea of a review week at the end and would write it down for consideration. I'm hoping he implements it, although I think my hope might be in vain. xP :(
