It's funny: Last year, I memorized Jonah in May. I was not expecting to be studying it AT ALL. Then from mid-November to yesterday I memorized John 1-8. Now we're going to be studying six of those chapters for locals (if this is true)! And a passage from John was very unexpected to me, too!

I thought it was going to be a book!

Well, I'm probably going to be memorizing John 9-21 :). But they might do 7-21 for Nationals.

I'm thinking that this will be good for the Game Show. That might have affected their decision.

Okay, I hope they don't give that much for Nationals though.

I just looked at the calendar. We have 15 (more like 14 and a 1/2) weeks to study for Nationals!!!!!!! (If I counted correctly)

Awesome! I just directed a play about the Gospel of John, and it is such an amazing book. You guys will have a lot of fun with it, I am sure. :)

Study it! That's the book that will be covered in their Study Guide (released the 22nd). It's also a really good idea to memorize it though. ;D

Emily, can you please summarize for me what they talked about in the webinar? My computer won't let me into it. I've been trying for an hour :(

Oh, I'm sorry about that! :( Yes…most of it has just been the same, but he said that the Study Guide will be over John 1-6. He says there's no desire to switch from Nats to the GS. They think you'll be able to go back and look at the test questions, instead of having each question timed. You'll get your score at the end of the test, but you won't know your nats status till later. They don't want people talking about the test online and such till the day after the test.
I might think of more… (And he might say something more too!)

I think that it will be :P. 6 weeks=6 chapters, so 15 weeks=15 chapters. (And 15+6=21, and there are 21 chapters in John). I wish that I had memorized more of John :(.
