Evie, Child of Grace

This was kind of a while ago, but one time we were watching Pendragon and they got to the part where the king says "He's given them hope." and my brother says "...and biscuits. But that's kind of the same thing." xPxP

Aw, that's awesome. :D

2 Corinthians 5:17

On my brother's 4th birthday
I ask him: "Micah, how does it feel to be 4?"
His response?
"Much better!" xD

another time
Micah: singing or saying something about America
Me: "Micah, did you know we live in America?"
Micah: "No we don't!"
Me: "Then where do we live?"
Micah: "In our house."
Me: laughing "Well, that is true, but our house is in America! We live in the country of America."
Micah: "No, we live in our house."
Me: "And where is our house?"
Micah: "Right here!"
I'm trying not to laugh, even though it was so funny.
XD

After I told my brothers this at lunch time, they later went to Micah and asked where we live.
His reply?
"Mexico."

I think this little guy needs some geography lessons. XD

realizes that it is pretty late, huh XP I know…it's really weird… it's not so much when you get eased into it, but we came back from Southern CA where it was normal, so it was kind of a shocker. :)

A couple weeks ago I overheard Thomas (8) singing Joy to the World, "He rules the world with truth and grace and makes the nations rage…" I think that he was getting it confused with Psalm 2 :).

A few miles from us, somebody has a big blowup Santa Claus in their yard. Every time we pass it, one of my little brothers will say, "Somebody's trespassing: Santa Claus!"

I am studying, listening to _First_ by Lauren Daigle. Taylor is in the room playing. Suddenly I hear... "Aaaaaauuuuuuhhh!" Taylor singing along by himself! ^ that doesn't really do it justice You probably won't understand the full cuteness of it unless you've heard the song.

And now in the past couple of days I've heard Taylor (who by the way is 2 years, 9 months) singing along to The River by Jordan Feliz - "Down, down, down!" and Jubilee (20 months) rocking along to tobyMac's Feel It - "Oh, oh, oh!" xD xD

So recently in our family Bible time, we finally finished going through the Bible. Last night we started over at the creation story. During question time, Dad asked Jude, our 3-year-old,

"What did God do on the seventh day, when He was finished with all His work?"

After pondering for several seconds, Jude finally responded, "He goed away."

William (8) reading the back of the cereal box (yes, we do this. We're homeschooled, what do you expect? Tell me other people read the back of the cereal box while eating breakfast?)

William says: "Guys! Be careful, there's iron in this!" (his siblings begin explaining that the pieces of iron are very small, but William continues reading…)

William: "ACID?? That's poisonous!" (siblings are silent, becoming alarmed themselves. What are we feeding ourselves?!)

William: "Phosphosaurus? There's a dinosaur in here too!"

Me: "That's where the 8 grams of protein comes from."
