The primary I was talking about was second on the list, so it looks like they're going by that? I agree, they should call all people involved in a tie.

Hm. So 5 more people till she gets to go. =P Honestly, if I were in her shoes would be really sad if enough people dropped out to invite my ranking, but they didn't invite all the ties.

Yea. Or imagine if you needed only one more person to drop out to qualify as an alternate!

You might want to check with the family and see if they haven't missed an email. Unless it's an oversight, I really can't see BB inviting one person tied for a place without inviting them all. If they truly haven't gotten an invitation email yet, I would suggest checking with HQ.

We keep checking with them. xD And they keep looking in their email. ;) I'll suggest to them though to double check and check their junk folder…

Hey guys. It has been a while and i just got notified that I can go to Nationals even though i am 140 because so many people dropped out. I don't think i would be able to do it since i am so far behind :( BTW It is my first year as a senior

I really took a drop in Seniors this year. Last year, I was a junior and placed 60th

Ah, that's still good! Seniors is pretty stiff competition. ;) I placed 60th in Seniors last year!

Devin! That's awesome! Congratulations! Would you be able to come even if you decide not to compete? I really think you can do it though! If you studied one chapter a week starting this Monday (like we did for locals), you'd finish before the end of October. I also know there's a TON of verses, but if you look at them, a lot of them are really common verses, I bet you have a bunch of them memorized already! Either way though, I'm super happy you got in and really hope we get to see you again this year!

Well, after thinking about it I think I am going to do it. I will make my decision tonight. Since it is in San Antonio, Mr. Upton asked my parents to judge so we would be there anyway. Also, we live in San Antonio so we wouldn't have to travel

I have a friend who was 10 places from qualifying for primaries and she was invited to nationals as an alternate. There were like 8 people tied for 130th place in primaries I think.

Lilly made it!! :D They just found out today though, because her dad contacted BB.

I don't know for sure. I know for sure that at least 10 primaries and 22 seniors dropped out, but I don't know how many juniors dropped out. I'm guessing around 16-24 juniors dropped out, but I don't know for sure.

Well, I heard a Junior #134 made it, so that's 14 so far, and I don't know how much further down they have gone. Wow, 22 Seniors? When will they stop inviting the alternates?
